​​​​​​Immunisation and Child Development

You can get your child immunised at any of our polyclinics. Our trained nurses also offer developmental screening services for your child.

Important points to note when bringing your child for any immunisation:

• Bring along your child's birth certificate on your first visit to the polyclinic and the health booklet at every visit.

• It is important to complete the full course of immunisations to ensure that your child has full immunity against the listed diseases.

• If you are unable to bring your child for a scheduled appointment, remember to call us at 6355 3000 to schedule for a new appointment.

• If your child is going overseas and will be having his or her immunisations administered in another country, you should bring along your child's health booklet to ensure correct continuity of care, administration and documentation of vaccinations received.

• Where possible, you should have your child immunised at the same clinic.

• A vaccination certificate will be issued after your child has completed his or her schedule of childhood immunisations. The Certificate of Vaccination is one of the documents required for Primary One school registration. Ministry of Health also accepts documentary evidence of immunisation downloaded from the National Immunisation Registry's (NIR) website. Please click here to go to the NIR website.

• Singaporeans are able to use their Child Development Account (CDA) account to pay for enhanced vaccinations. If you are keen, please bring along the following documents at your baby’s first vaccination visit (at 3 months):

  • 1. CDA* – NETS card with Pin Number (OCBC/UOB/POSB/DBS)

  • 2. Latest CDA monthly statement or online CDA statement of account

  • 3. Parent’s/ Trustee’s NRIC

  • 4. Child’s original Birth Certificate

*Please ensure you have sufficient funds in your CDA account, otherwise you will have to make a non-refundable upfront payment.

If your child is born overseas:

• It is recommended that you call us at 6355 3000 to schedule for an appointment.

• Please bring along your child’s overseas immunisation records on your first visit, as the attending nurse needs to check and verify your child’s vaccination records.
