Diagnostics Services
National Healthcare Group Diagnostics (NHGD) is a business unit of NHG, providing quality laboratory and imaging services at the primary healthcare level. Conveniently located in all NHG Polyclinics, our aim is to provide a one-stop imaging and laboratory services which are accessible, cost-effective, seamless, timely and accurate.
NHGD offers the following services:
- Clinical Laboratory (General Laboratory & Panel Laboratory Tests)
- Electrocardiogram (ECG)
- Spirometry
- General X-ray (Chest, Head & Neck, Upper and Lower Limbs & Trunk)
- Mammogram
- Ultrasound (Kidneys, Hepatobiliary System and Pelvis)
- Bone Mineral Densitometry (BMD)
Mammogram Screening
Please make an appointment in advance.
- To make a new appointment, please submit your request via our Online Appointment Form.
- You may reschedule your appointment via the same link at least 3 working days before your appointment.
- Alternatively, you may call 6275-6443 (6-ASK-NHGD) for more information.
- A doctor’s memorandum is required if you are a foreigner.
Eligibility for Mammogram
To be eligible for Breast Screen Singapore Programme, participant must fulfill the following criteria.

Medisave Guidelines
Under the Medisave guidelines, participants must fulfill all the criteria below to be eligible for Medisave claim.
- Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents
- Patients who are qualified under the Breast Screen Singapore (BSS) programme
- Age 50 and above (Based on date of birth of patient)
- Sufficient Medisave funds under the Medisave 300 scheme
- Patients can use their own or their immediate family members’ Medisave for their mammogram screening
In our continuous quest for quality excellence, NHGD has received international accreditation such as ISO 15189:2012 (Medical Laboratory – particular requirement for quality and competence). We have also joined efforts with National Healthcare Group Polyclinics to attain the Joint International Commission (Ambulatory Care Standard) accreditation.
